2016-2017

Sports Premium Funding was introduced in the school year 2013-14 and is expected to continue for several years. Funding is made up of a lump sum

of £8000 plus an additional £5 per pupil. For the academic year 2014-15, school received £8744

The school PE coordinator, (Miss Mansfield) compiles a yearly action plan, ensuring the funding is directly benefitting the school and its pupils, in its provision for sport, PE and physical well-being.

Schools must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer.

This means that you could use the premium to:

* develop or add to the PE and sport activities that your school already offers
* make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years

Following a school audit of PE, incorporating both the curricular and extra-curricular provision, we prioritised 5 areas which would support the development of PE – please click on the link below to access our plan.
