Our final half-term of Year 3 is upon us and the 2016 Olympic Games are just around the corner! With the Euros taking place now, it seems fitting that we in Year 3 should think a little more about the Sportsmen and Sportswomen taking part.
We are all very excited about our new topic about Sporting Heroes and the children already have their own ideas about which Sporting people are important role models to them.
Please take a look at the ‘Summer Term 2’ section below for the Topic Letter and Topic Web to find out more about the things that we will be learning this half term.
Please note: We will be visiting Chapel-en-le-Frith High School for a Year 3 MFL morning on Tuesday 28th June 2016. I have added the letter to the ‘Summer Term 2’ section.
Our Reading morning last half term had a fantastic turn-out by family and friends and we all very much enjoyed it here in school. We hope that your found this to be a valuable opportunity for you and your children.
If you have any further questions then you are more than welcome to catch me, Mrs Ryder, Mrs Barnett or Mrs Cass at the end of the day when it’s a little quieter!
