Parents evening this week: Tuesday 17th and Thursday 19th April - looking forward to seeing you all.

Welcome to Whaley Bridge Primary School!

I am proud to be Head Teacher of Whaley Bridge Primary School.

We have strong family values which are important to us. We like to think of the children belonging to an extended family; the older children having a supportive and sensible attitude to the younger ones, both in school and on the playground. We are a busy and friendly school, with lots going on – there’s always an exciting buzz when I visit the classrooms! I can assure that our team and I pride ourselves in doing the best for all children, of all abilities, by providing a wide range of stimulating activities, taught through an engaging curriculum. Our children are always happy and enjoy coming to school. We are passionate for our children to become life-long learners, so that they become successful young adults. Our staff are committed to make a difference, to inspire, nurture and encourage children to be the best they can be.

We are an Enhanced Resource school which means we have places for children who have additional needs. If you would like to find out more, please visit the SEND section on the website or contact our SENCo, Laura Chadwick.

I look forward to working in partnership with you to achieve the very best for your child.

See you soon

Fay Walton

Other words I learned most of the rest of the words or senses suggested are somewhere on the path to possible inclusion in our dictionaries, though a few were entirely new, at least to me
